International Crisis Group9pointZero Solutions staff were heavily involved in helping the International Crisis Group get their multi-language web application off the ground. The International Crisis Group is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation with over 110 staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict. They needed an application which would allow them to gather, catalogue, store and disseminate information on a timely basis in a myriad of formats gathered from around the globe. The application is Cold Fusion-based using a SQL Server database.

United Nations: DAPPA

9pointZero Solutions created private web-based application to support their Drug Abuse Prevention Programme In Asia.

DAPPAThe objective of UNESCO's Drug Abuse Prevention Programme in Asia for Marginalised Youth (DAPPA) project (in collaboration with the European Union) was harm reduction and prevention in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. This was to be acheived through formal and non-formal education, vocational skills training for targeted groups of young people with a view to creating alternative employment and the enhancement of links between implementing agencies involved in the project.

9pointZero Solutions created an ASP-based application which allowed UNESCO team members and various government agencies and NGO's participating in the program to share information, project details, case studies and more. In addition it also allowed for the easy gathering, storage and collating of statistical data. Functionality was also included to allow inter-group communication and real-time collaboration through the application via the internet in addition to various report-generation and data-monitoring modules.
